WIU Music Major Discovery Day is an opportunity for current high school sophomores and juniors to explore the various degree program options available in the School of Music. Students select a track based on the major in which they are interested and experience techniques classes and ensemble observations based on their primary instrument.

Students will be immersed in life as a music major, meeting with current WIU music faculty and students and learning more about the admissions and audition process. All juniors who attend will qualify for the $1,000 Leatherneck Visitor Scholarship.
